When you ask someone what do they consider before signing up for a data plan, they will always reply u the same answers. Typically, what u use it for, how much time u will spend on it and lastly the cost. At $22.42, I think its well worth the money to have some fun chatting, reading up blogs, surfing for information. I seriously dont think you can reach the 50GB limit. I clogged up only 19MB worth of data in the first month using the data plan. That is daily usage of surfing, IM and emailing. There is only so much free time in a day regardless if u r studying or working. and 19MB is WELL below the 50GB mark. I guess its for people who use a laptop and the phone as a modem that should be more concerned with the limit.

50GB = 50,000MB. Besides, my surf speed was never near the stated speed for the mobile plan and my phone cannot support that speed as well. With 50,000MB = 50,000,000KB and if u do some math given a above average connect speed of 50kb/s, e limit is about 280hours of online time, which works out about 10hrs/day in a month. But rem this is purely for mobile users, laptop users might clock alot more data frm bigger downloads.
Its easy to see that mobile data should become more popular, hence prices should continue to drop if u bundle w other related phone services. However, given e upcoming Wimax technologies, i wouldnt want to tie myself down and sign up for a 12month contract just yet.
